Can't get enough of Yu-Gi-Oh! can you? Of course you can't, and you will soon enough thanks to a partnership between Cinedigm and 4K Media. The partnership will see the release of over 600 Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes on various home entertainment formats. Formats include Video On Demand, digital, DVD and Blue-Ray box sets. Starting September 10th, season 1 of Yu-Gi-Oh! will launch first. The announcement between the two companies was made during the Comic-Con event a while back in San Diego.
Kazuki Takahashi is the creator of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, and probably would never have thought how gigantic the franchise has become. Selling well over 25 billion cards, Yu-Gi-Oh! Mr. Shinichi Hanamoto, who happens to be the Chairman and President Cooporate Officer of 4K media issued a statement, “This deal continues an exciting year for the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand. Cinedigm is the perfect partner to bring the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand back into the home entertainment market.”
