The new Pro Evolution Soccer video puts a laser beam on their UEFA Champions League licence, one day after FIFA

I never thought this thing would go the distance, and yet it has. This year is the ultimate year for soccer fans, as the new PES 2014, and FIFA are going neck and neck to see who the superior format is. With the Fox Engine backing PES this year, could they be the one to take home the gold medal this time? The end of September is the only time to answer that question, so for now, let's take a look at the new video Konami has released at the GamesCom event in Cologne, Germany. This latest video puts a fine laser beam on the UEFA Champions League licence that PES is boasting this year.

The video also showcases the Celtics? An interesting choice Konami, and the video has a rather up close and personal perspective of how PES demonstrates the passing and blocking features this time around. The control system? That should take some getting used to, as you will be learning how to play Pro Evolution Soccer all over again, thanks to the new and unique TrueBall and Heart concepts introduced. Oh and by the way, for those who claim the Heart feature hurts the game play, Konami has indicated a while back that this option can be turned off, for those who don't like it. Fair enough. Check out the new video below and tell me what you think about it. Three and a half minutes of a welcome treat we've been waiting on since the E3 show event took place.
