The Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional and Konami make a deal to bring 18 teams to the new Pro Evolution Soccer game

It just keeps getting better and better doesn't it?, and we like it that way. The latest Pro Evolution Soccer game has gotten 18 18 Primera División teams added to it thanks to a nice deal between Konami and the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional or (ANFP). These are Chile's top teams and a welcome addition to the mix, as Konami has also added to the PES roster the famous national football announcers Fernando Solabarrieta and Patricio ("Pato") Yáñez, who will be calling the action taking place for each game. Among the 18 teams being added to PES this year will include Universidad de Chile and Colo-Colo.

The President of Konami Digital Entertainment recently made these comments about the addition of the newly added teams this time around....

"For the next chapter in the Pro Evolution series, we have been working hard to secure licensing that will excite our fans. Even though the sport is globally celebrated; we understand how important it is for fans to be able to interact with their beloved hometown teams and players."

This is only a handful in the number of licensed teams Konami has added from around the globe. Other deals made include the AFC Champions League, and the UEFA Champions League just for starters. The latest tutorial videos below also showcase how to handle your ball and how to work with the new attack system being implemented in Pro Evolution Soccer this year. All of this combined with the Fox Engine should certainly please the fan base in more ways than one. You can look forward to PES 2014 being launched on September 24th, the same day as FIFA in which the soccer wars this year will be going head to head like never before.

Systems getting the new PES include Xbox360, PS3, and PSP. A windows PC version is scheduled for release not too long afterwards. According to Konami, no next generation systems will see a release, nor will PSVita, Wii-U, or Nintendo 3DS due to a lack of demand for those systems.
