Brushing aside video games for a moment, as Konami claims their fifth victory in the ITS Baseball Championship, which is held each year around autumn. Yes, they do have their own baseball team too. Most believe they only deal with soccer, but then again many didn't realize they were also into the casino business! So, moving on. The Kanto IT Software Health Insurance Association are the ones who organize the tournament held each year, and Konami hasn't claimed much of a win since 2010. So this marks quite a comeback for them.
Next year Konami will be participating in the Nikkan Sports Tokyo Union Health Insurance Baseball Cup Tournament as the official ITS winners. Too bad I don't live in Japan, or else I would grab some popcorn and watch the event.
