For you Star Wars fans out there, the Force card battle game that graced the iOS and Android devices a while back gets some new updates. The card based Star Wars game the launched a couple of months ago updated its site with some new packs and event information. Episode 7 is in the works, something the fans have been so eager to hear about for a long time, and as pre production takes effect, Lawrence Kasdan and director J.J. Abrams get down to business with screenwriting for the film. Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy added some statements in regards to the new Star Wars.
"I am very excited about the story we have in place and thrilled to have Larry and J.J. working on the script. There are very few people who fundamentally understand the way a Star Wars story works like Larry, and it is nothing short of incredible to have him even more deeply involved in its return to the big screen. J.J. of course is an incredible storyteller in his own right. Michael Arndt has done a terrific job bringing us to this point and we have an amazing film making and design team in place already prepping for production."
Filming should begin this coming spring 2014, and the movie is expected for a launch date sometime in 2015. You can get some more info on who else is working on it, along with their past experiences in other films here. May the Force be with you, always.
