I decided to take about a half an hour today and watch through the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 demo, as some out there are going to wait until the final release next February. Not wanting to obligate themselves to purchase the Castlevania Collection just to get a demo, here is a play through of it, which lasts for about a half hour. Tutorial in the beginning, showing how to use your character, void sword, feeding upon the blood of your enemies and so on.
Timing is critical when playing LOS2, as there won't be the constant button mashing that some games seem to play out. Some of your enemies will have shields and defenses you have to break through, and learning how to work with the new combat system and getting your timing down right is necessary to smash through them. The soundtrack to Lords of Shadow 2 is something to bark about as well, and Castlevania has always been known for its musical score. Take a listen if you care to a couple of tracks below to see how they measure up to past titles.
