Some like it hot and some sweat when the heat is on, with your own personal soundtrack in Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes

Hey, I'm not saying you should listen to Robert Palmer, but do feel free to listen to anything your heart desires as you can import your own personal music into Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Yes, thanks to a recent post on Twitter from none other than Hideo Kojima, you can listen to your own favorite songs, soundtracks, and such with the import option on the options screen to GZ. Kojima shows that he likes the soundtrack to Pacific Rim, a great movie I personally saw when it launched in theaters a few months ago. According to the image Kojima posted below, here is the lineup options for the screen you're seeing on his monitor.

Game Start
Mission Select
Play Records
Trial Records
BackStore
Cassette Tapes

The rest says something to the effect of "Manual" and "Options" I believe, but the sub menu under "Cassette Tapes" says "Listen to Tapes" and "Import Music". Cassette tapes and not CDs? Well, if your wondering about that, keep in mind the time period that Ground Zeroes takes place in. Back in the 70's, Disco was big, ladies wore those bell bottom jeans, and if you liked Kung Fu movies, you just might have saw Enter the Dragon. Sounds classic to me. So it looks like next spring you and I will have the option to rock or whatever your style of music while playing GZ. If Solid Snake were a real guy, I wonder what music he would listen to? Led Zeppelin?

I installed my favorite OST of "Pacific Rim" in the walkman that "GZ Snake" has and played the game with this song.
