Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 might have gotten off to a bumpy start, but the new free data pack is here to save face

Did I say "save face", that should actually read "add faces", like 800 of them. The new data pack 2 coming later this month from Konami will give PES 2014 the lift that it desperately needed. We are about a month and a half into the launch of the new PES, which suffered some online play issues that left many a fan in the dust. The data pack 2 should put a band aid on that mistake, as it will add not only 800 new faces, but the team rosters will be completely up to date, and making sure that every player is on the right team. You can see from the images below that the visual quality is better than PES has ever been in the past.

Among the new updates, are some additions that the PES community has been desiring for a long time. Game play tweaks, chat elements, and the newly introduced 11 Vs 11 mode you've all been waiting on. A team lobby system was added, along with the games competition mode now including online enhancements, as well as a Master League Online mode. New kits are there, along with sponsorships for various teams. What about the boots? Mizuno, Addidas, Nike, and Puma are all there too, can't live without those can we? Those will be available by way of the games edit function. All of this and more can be found in the new data pack, with more yet to come. Even though Pro Evolution Soccer this year got off to somewhat of a bumpy start, things are turning around it seems.
