The top four collection sets for Konami game hits you can put under your tree this holiday season

When your walking around the mall right now, you're not exactly listening to the latest pop or rock song floating around the music scene, you're listening to Jingle Bells or Frosty the Snowman. Whether your annoyed by it or not, it does mean one thing. What gifts to give your loved ones this year. If they are a gamer, and are familiar with Metal Gear, Silent Hill, or Castlevania, then you can make a splendid choice for them this year based on some recent, and fairly recent releases. Let's go over about four great collection sets you can choose from.

Metal Gear Solid: Legacy Collection

Unlike the first HD collection, this set managed to have Peace Walker in the mix. It contains every major Metal Gear game that was released since the days of the MSX Japanese computer system. Although meant for the PS3 and not Xbox360 due to the size of Guns of the Patriots, you can't go wrong with this set.

Silent Hill HD Collection

The creepy and likely considered the greatest one of all, Silent Hill 2 is included in this set along with Silent Hill 3, both in HD and full PlayStation Network Trophies support to boot. Amazon currently has it listed for just under 20 bucks.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance

At the newly introduced lower price of just $30, players to get their hands on it for the first time now will also get the JetStream Sam and Blade Wolf downloadable content packs free of charge. As soon as they put their copy in, they will be asked to download the free add ons immediately.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection

What LOS fan wouldn't want this? Along with the original Lords of Shadow released in 2010, the Reverie and Resurrection download packs come along with it. Mirror of Fate in HD is included and can now be played on the big screen. You also get a demo of Lords of Shadow 2, something fans have been eager to try out for some time now.

I could go on and on with some other fine titles, but these are likely on the top of many a wish list this year. If you have any particular Konami game you're looking for, why not drop a comment in the box below if you're having a hard time finding it, and I'll see if I can help you. Happy holidays!
