Next week the Playstation Network will have Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions available for PSN subscribers

Turning back the clock to the late 90's, when the first Metal Gear Solid game graced our Playstation 1 consoles, it took the original series and gave it a one up as it badly needed. One year later, the VR Missions for MGS was released, giving us a chance to practice our stealth skills even more. In Japan, VR Missions was launched as a bonus if you bought Metal Gear Solid: Integral, but was sold by itself in Europe and North America as a stand alone release. Being known in Europe as "Special Missions".

Featuring a massive 300 missions to boot, VR Missions also will feature other items of interest, such as a photo shots section with Mei Ling and Naomi Hunter. Some missions will even feature murder mysteries, and one such funny mission involving someone who ate a popsicle? You heard right, it's in there. The ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) gave a rating to VR Missions a few months ago for the PSVita, PS3, and PSP systems, so it was bound to land on PSN at some point.
