The poll is closed, and the people have responded to who they think should be doing the voice of Solid Snake

I thought I would do a simple test, one that involves you, the public and your opinions. Yours and yours alone are what count as far as I'm concerned. The test I did was actually a poll. I wanted to see if you thought Kiefer Sutherland was a good voice for Solid Snake, and 33 of you responded over the matter. Drum roll please, your not going to believe this one. It was exactly half and half on both David Hayter and Sutherland. Exactly 39% responded in favor of Kiefer, while another 39% responded with Hayter. The remaining 21% simply said "No" to the prospect of even using Sutherland in the role of Solid Snake.

For many years now, David Hayter had played the voice behind Snake (Big Boss), and it had started way back on the PS1 with the first Metal Gear Solid game. That lasted all the way up to Peace Walker on the PSP hand held system, which was also one of the best in the series. The announcement a few months back of not using David Hayter caused an uproar with the fans. The introduction of Sutherland playing the role of Solid Snake was nothing short of a controversy. So this is why I do these polls, simply to see what's on your mind, whether it be something you want to get off your chest, or just voice your own opinion.

It'll be interesting to see the final product of Kiefer's involvement with The Phantom Pain. The loss of David Hayter however, has still caused some ripples with a lot of fans.
