An unpredictable AI might cause some problems for Metal Gear Solid 5 at the Tokyo Game Show, as Hideo Kojima shows his concerns

What exactly is an unpredictable AI? Is that when you have characters running around in a game aimlessly and doing odd things? Perhaps, or perhaps it could lead to other problems. It looks like we will see the end result as the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) takes off, where Metal Gear Solid 5 will have a presentation showcasing its stuff to the world. The problem is, what I just stated above, is an unpredictable artificial intelligence. Hideo Kojima has run into some issues with MGSV, making a few statements on Twitter about how there isn't enough time before the official presentation to fix the errors.

“If you’re going to see the demo at the stage event, I may have to stop [before the end of the presentation] because of errors”

“Oh my, the demo for the stage event is 100% more difficult. The behaviour of the enemy is different every time, I can’t help it because I cannot predict it. If I’m found out [by the enemy] while playing it may not be possible to complete the presentation as planned. If it was our own booth, extending the time would be possible on a case-by-case basis, but this time it’s not.”

It'll be interesting to see the outcome of the presentation, as I hope it goes extremely well for him. The better the result, the more game play footage you can get your hands on. The fans are really hoping for some new material to see.
