Sumthing Else Music Works is really something with their latest video game soundtrack releases for various Silent Hill games, just before Halloween

Here we are in October, and something is missing? Oh, that's right, nothing is missing because Sumthing Else Music Works is here. Did that make sense? Well it will in a minute if you are a Silent Hill fan and can't get enough of the creepy game music soundtracks from within them. Halloween time usually means one thing for Konami, and it usually has to do with some kind of otherworldly release, as the site called Sumthing Else has released various soundtracks for a number of hit Silent Hill titles.

The company is primarily dedicated to one thing if you are a gamer, and that's gaming music. Among their latest launches include Silent Hill: Homecoming, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, Silent Hill: Downpour, Silent Hill: Book of Memories, and Silent Hill: Origins. You may listen to a small sample of each soundtrack to see if it suits your style. Among the wonderful artists behind the long time running series include Akira Yamaoka, Elizabeth McGlynn, Daniel Licht, and Jonathan Davis. Each digital download will run you a modest $9.99 per download. I can imagine some collecting every last one of them to add to their existing arsenal.

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn was featured as the singer in "Silent Scream", the song from last year's Silent Hill Revelation 3D movie, starring Adelaide Clemens. Her voice is magnificent, trust me, and listen to one of her tracks below. You can check out the soundtracks for Silent Hill games at Sumthing Else's official site.
