The three top Halloween wish list Castlevania games for you to have before the holiday season arrives

Tomorrow is Halloween, and before you go out with your little ones to see how much candy you can stuff into one bag, and still have the strength to drag it back home, here is something to consider. The three top wish list Castlevania games for you to get your Belmont hands on before the holiday season arrives and the shelves get cleaned off. Let's start with the big daddy.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition - Currently listed for $39.96

This is for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. The Ultimate Edition combines the original Lords of Shadow mega hit, along with the Reverie and Resurrection expansion sets. Mirror of Fate in full screen HD format is also included, along with a demo copy of Lords of Shadow 2. That should tide you over until after the holidays.

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair - Now listed on PSN for only $8.39 until November 5th.

Released on the Nintendo WiiWare format back in 2010, this all new 2D "MetroidVania" type adventure allows you to use different characters from other games such as Order of Ecclesia, Symphony of the Night, Rondo of Blood, and more. Yes, Richter Belmont and Maria Renard are there as well. The current price of only $8.39 for Playstation Plus users expires on November 5th, then it should return to the sale price for $10.49. Not a bad deal either way.

Super Castlevania IV - First time buyer price - $7.99
Previous Wii Virtual Console buyers - $1.50

A classic gem that made you want to buy a Super Nintendo in the worst way. Super Castlevania 4 set a new standard in the series, with its mode 7 and warping effects, along with haunting orchestrated soundtrack. If you are a first time buyer of this digital download, your price is $7.99, while previous buyers of the Wii Virtual Console version will only pay $1.50. Fair is as fair does.

That about wraps things up in the Belmont department. After tomorrow, things will start to heat up for the Christmas season, especially after we are done eating turkey and everyone flies out the door to the mall to fill up their shopping carts. Know a gamer in your life who likes Konami hits? Put a Castlevania game under your tree, or on the hard drive of your gaming console.
